This DNA miniprep kit was designed based on alkaline lysis of bacterial cells followed by binding of DNA onto silica membrane in column. The cell debris, genomic DNA and RNA were precipitated or digested prior to the binding and further cleaned by the unique wash buffer. High purity plasmid DNA was eluted in 10mM Tris-HCl buffer (alternatively, could in TE or water), and was proved to be excellent for DNA sequencing, cell transfection and enzyme digestion. Kit contains all components for 100 DNA mini purifications. All items are prepared in ready-to-use format, no need for any reconstitution. Each column has 20ug of DNA binding capacity. And each column is individually capped to prevent potential cross contamination during centrifugation. See product manual.
