Expression ready lentiviral particles are most advanced gene delivery tools. The premade particles constain specific gene that ready to be delivered into wide range of cell types including primary cells and non-dividing cells.

Applications for premade lentiviral particles:

1. Deliver gene into hard-to-transfected cell types (such as neuron cells) without using any transfection reagents;
2. Deliver gene in highly reproducible and controllable methods by the the amounts of premade particles;
3. Create stable cell lines for long-term high level expression in the much easier and much cost effective way;
4. Express genes in primary cells, or drug-arrested cells;
5. It is also great tool for making transgenic animals;
6. Organelle targeted lentiviral particles provides great tools for sub-cellular localization analysis;

Using our SureTiter^TM lentiviral vectors and Inducible lentiviral vector, GenTarget generates the best lentiviral particles with the following specifications:

1. Particles were packaged in culture medium with 10% FBS, or in serum-free medium;
2. Particles can be used as constitutuve high expression, or as Tetracycline inducible expression;
3. The delivered gene was expressed natively, or only with a 6His-tag;

Each vial of lentiviral particle contains highly transducible lentivirus of >1 x 10e7~8 IFU/ml x 200ul. (Our titers are validated by true infectious functional units via fluorescent cells. Other vendor may claim higher titers measured via ELISA P24 or qPCR which do not reflect the true titers). They are easy to use, no need for any mixing or addition, simply add certain amount of virus into your cultured cells. You will be able to observe the expression in ~ 72 hours.  The expression can be visulized by the RFP protein's fluorescent signal under microscopy so you know virus' performance in real-time.  Seeing is believeing!  (Notes: the target genes were not fused with fluorescent proteins, see each product manual for details in each lenti vector map).
