Premade optional inducible lentiviral shRNA expression particles, knockdowning β-Galactosidase (lacZ) gene. Particles contains a GFP-Blasticidin dual selection marker. GFP fluorescent signal provide a convenient method to observe the virus tranduction under microscope, and the transuced cells can be sorted / selected via either flourescent signal or Blasticidin. shRNA sequence was designed in β-Galactosidase codon region, demonstrating greater than 90% knockdown levels for exogenous (trasnfected lacZ expression) in HEK293 cells. It also comes with its negative control shRNA particles (Cat#: LVP-Ctr-GB) that contains a negative shRNA-sequence. The negative control shRNA was designed having no homogous to any human or mouse transcripts, and should not knock down any human or mouse genes. Please see product manual for more details.
