About hTERT gene:

The human TERT gene encodes for the telomerase reverse transcriptase enzyme. Telomerase is an enzyme that adds DNA repeats to the end of chromosomes, to protect the genetic material in chromosomes from degradation and instability. hTERT maintain telomere length and stability by adding DNA repeats to the ends of chromosomes. Telomere shortening is a hallmark of aging and is associated with a range of age-related diseases

About Nano-Lantern hTERT: 

This Lentivirus construct the fusion of Orange-Nano-Lantern with hTERT, containing the puromycin selection. It allows real-time Luminescence imaging of hTERT movement and location in chromosomes. Click Product Manual for product details.
