Pre-packaged rAAV in Serotype-DJ, constitutively express TetR (tetracycline repressor), under a modified enhance EF1a Promoter, No-tag.
TetR (tetracycline regulator) (click to see its codon sequence), is a bacterial transcriptional repressor from E. coli that binds to tetO operator sequences in the absence of tetracycline (or its analog doxycycline). It turns any promoter embedded tetO operator sequence, into an inducible promoter. It can be used to turn Gentarget’s expression lentivirus products into inducible expression. AAV Serotype-DJ is a synthetic serotype made from different serotypes using DNA shuffling. AAV-DJ serotype has the enhanced transduction efficiency in vitro and in vivo compared to wild-type serotypes with Broad Cell Tropism, great transduction rate in CNS, Liver, Kidney, Fibroblasts, muscle.
