SV40 Large T antigen
About SV40 large T antigen:
SV40 large T antigen (click to see its coding sequence), [Simian Vacuolating Virus 40 Large T-Ag ] is a hexamer protein involved in viral genome replication and regulation of the host cell cycle. It is used as a model protein to study nuclear localization signals and viral replication. It also widely used for cell immortalization for variety of cell types.
SV40 large T antigen Expression Lentivirus:
GenTarget offers premade expression lentivirus for SV40 large T-antigen, driven by either the super strong suCMV promoter or an enhanced EF1a promoter. Each lentivirus contains an antibiotic selection marker: Neomycin (Neo), Puromycin (Puro), Blasticidin (Bsd), Zeocin (Zeo), Hygromycin (Hygro), or contains a fluorescent-antibiotic fusion dual marker: RFP-Bsd, RFP-Puro, GFP-Bsd, GFP-Puro, best for selecting, sorting and monitoring the immortalized cells. See the lentivector expression scheme below:
Please see Product Manual for details.
Lentivirus are provided as in two formats:
- Crude Lentivirus: 200ul /vial in DMEM containing 10 x Polybrene;
- Concentrated lentivirus: 200ul PBS solution which is better for hard-to-transduced cell types or for serum-free culture.
