Human SHP-77 / Luciferase & GFP Stable Cells

$4,000.00

Description

SHP-77 cell line is human small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) epithelial cell line established in 1977. SHP-77 expresses neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), NHK-1, CD56, and the cell surface leucocyte antigen Leu-7(HNK-1;CD57). This cell line has a variety of unusual characteristics including the morphology of an undifferentiated large cell variant. It grows as some loosely adherent cells, aggregates in suspension.

SHP-77 Cell line can be used to evaluate the immune status of patients with SCLC who are treated with radiation or chemotherapy. They are suitable for in vitro nude mice assays for evaluation of immune reactivity of cells and serum from lung cancer patients.

This Luciferase & GFP human SHP-77 cell line was transformed via Lentivirus transduction. It has the Luciferase and GFP was constitutively co-expressed under EF1a promoter, as two separate protein (not as fusion), mediated via 2A element. The Puromycin resistance marker was expressed under Rsv promoter. The following express cassette was integrated into cell-line’s genome.

Each cell demonstrates a strong GFP fluorescent signal (see sample image below). Its chem-luminescence signal was verified via luciferase assay using the D-luciferin substrate. And its signal can be detected, in vitro and in vivo.
