About H2B gene:

H2B is a histone protein. It is the basic unit of chromatin. H2B is involved in the regulation of chromatin structure and gene expression through its post-translational modifications, such as acetylation and methylation. Therefore, H2B can be used as a marker for studying epigenetic changes in cells or tissues.

About Nano-Lantern H2B: 

This Lentivirus construct the fusion of Orange-Nano-Lantern with H2B, containing the puromycin selection. It allows real-time Luminescence visualizing the nucleus and track cell division in live cells. By measuring its signal level, researchers can distinguish cells in different phases of the cell cycle.
