Pre-made lentivirus express reverse tetracycline Transcriptional Activator (rtTA) protein. Lentiviral particles expressing rtTA-m2 gene (ABC65845.1) under an enhanced EF1a promoter (which is non-tissue, non-cell-type specific promoter, not be silenced after long-term culture). A GFP-blastidicin fusion dual marker under RSV promoter, allows to sort or select transduced cells for long-term expression via GFP signal or via blasticidin antibiotic (Dual markers). See Product Manual (.pdf).
rtTA-M2 is a mutant of rtTA that has increased stability, reduced background expression in the absence of Doxycycline (Dox, tetracycline analog) and improved inducibility in the presence of Dox. It is used for TetOn inducible expression system.
This is the GFP-Blasticidin dual marker version of rtTA particles, concentrated and provided in PBS.
