Description
Pre-packaged rAAV in Serotype-DJ, constitutively express the Kate (Red Fluorescent Protein, wavelength Ex/Em: 588nm/635nm), under a modified CMV Promoter, tagged with Nuclear localization signals (NLS). The fluorescent signal is localized at cell’s nuclear area.
Kate is a far-red reporter, good brightness, and relatively fast maturation, useful in deep-tissue imaging and in vivo work, where tissue autofluorescence is lower and light penetration is better.

AAV Serotype-DJ is a synthetic serotype made from different serotypes using DNA shuffling. AAV-DJ serotype has the enhanced transduction efficiency in vitro and in vivo compared to wild-type serotypes with Broad Cell Tropism, great transduction rate in CNS, Liver, Kidney, Fibroblasts, muscle.
