HEK293T / Luciferase stable cells (RFP / Puromycin)

SKU: SC002T-RP Categories: ,

HEK293T cell is a human cell line, derived from the HEK 293 cell line, that expresses a mutant version of the SV40 large T antigen. It is very commonly used in biology for protein expression and production of recombinant retroviruses. Due to the expression of SV40 large T antigen, transfected plasmid DNAs that carry the SV40 origin of replication can replicate in 293T and will transiently maintain a high copy number; this can greatly increase the amount of recombinant protein or retrovirus that can be produced from the cells

Transformed from HEK293T cells, this stable cell line constitutively the firefly luciferase gene II  under EF1a promoter. The RFP-Puromycin dual marker was express under RSV promoter. see the inserted expression cassette scheme below:

Each cell shows strong RFP fluorescent signal. see sample image below:

Sold at:  1 vial x (2 x 106 cells)/vial, see details in Product Manual.
